What Katy Did - being a Bond girl

Pussy Galore, Honey Ryder, Plenty O'Toole, Dr Holly Goodhead; there have been a number of dubiously named Bond girls over the years and at the recent charity premiere of Casino Royale, I was posing as none other than Goldeneye bad girl Xenia Onatopp - played by Famke Janssen - whose preferred mode of killing is to crush men with her thighs.Luckily, my role for the evening didn't require the emulation such skills but merely to turn up looking glamorous in order to greet guests as they arrived for pre-film martinis and a charity auction held at Liquid Envy nightclub, opposite from Cineworld on Cardinal Park where the screening was to take place.Other look-alikes on the night included Solitaire, Miss Mary Goodnight, Daniel Craig, Sean Connery, Odd Job, M, and Blofeld, who looked extremely convincing once the make-up students at Suffolk College had created a scar across his eye.Although I have a number of evening gowns hanging forlornly in my wardrobe, none of them, I decided, were quite as dramatic and eye-catching enough for a paparazzi premiere.

Christina Ricci says no to fur

Actress Christina Ricci will no longer be wearing fur after she was named one of the worst-dressed celebrities by the organisation People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

A Christina fan shut down her fansite after discovering the star was a fur-wearer. The 26-year-old actress confessed, "I have been deluged with angry and disappointed fans. I never meant to hurt nor anger anyone with my insensitivity. For what it is worth I have received the message loud and clear and will not be wearing fur in the future."

Ricci is currently filming Penelope with Reese Witherspoon.

Teri Hatcher Has A Shoe Problem

Los Angeles (eCanadaNow) - Teri Hatcher reportedly infuriated the crew and stylists on the set of ‘Desperate Housewives' by refusing to film her scenes until she could wear her favourite shoes.

The actress allegedly threw a tantrum when she was told a specific pair of designer Jimmy Choos shoes were not available for her to wear.

Despite having 37 different pairs to choose from, Teri didn't like any of the footwear on offer and demanded staff get her the style she wanted.

A source told Britain's Mail On Sunday newspaper: “The stylist had 37 pairs of shoes but none were right. Teri insisted on a specific pair and when the store the company uses could not provide them Teri got a runner to collect a similar pair from her home."

Meanwhile, Teri is dating her ‘Desperate Housewives' co-star Eva Longoria's ex-boyfriend.

Ocean's Twelve take on Paris

Hollywood stars have gathered in Paris for the advance French premiere of Ocean's Twelve, the sequel to the highly successful remake of the rat pack film Ocean's Eleven.

The film reunites a high profile cast including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Mat Damon and Julia Roberts, but the new line up also stars Academy Award winning actress Catherine Zeta Jones and French actor Vincent Cassel.

The addition of Vincent brought praise from actor Matt Damon. He said: "The original didn't have Vincent Cassel in it, so the sequel's obviously better!"

Vincent said it was good being welcomed into the "Ocean club".

He enthused: "It's like working and having fun at the same time, and hopefully it'll show."

The 2001 hit heist caper, Oceans Eleven, was a remake of a 1960 movie that starred Hollywood's Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, among others).
