Jennifer Connelly's Son Thinks He's Luke Skywalker

Jennifer Connelly's son Stellan almost landed his father in a French jail cell on Wednesday after convincing airport authorities he was Luke Skywalker. The three-year-old Star Wars fanatic baffled airport security when he insisted he was Luke and has father Paul Bettany was super-villain Darth Vader.

Jennifer Connelly reveals, "They were in Nice and they were coming home and they got to the airport and went to passport control and Stellan has an American passport and Paul has a British passport. Stellan's photo was taken when he was about a week old and he's now three years old, so it's completely unrecognizable. So they march up to passport control and Stellan announces, 'I'm Luke,' and the woman at passport control goes, 'Excuse me.'

"She brings someone else over and they ask again, 'Who is this person? Is this your father?' and he goes, 'No, that's not my daddy.' And then they call the police.

Jennifer Connelly's bizarre meds reaction

Jennifer Connelly had an embarrassing reaction to medication after hurting her neck whilst filming a car chase sequence with Leonardo DiCaprio for upcoming movie Blood Diamond. She relied on husband Paul Bettany to save her from the consequences of her actions. The actress, who shot to fame in Labyrinth, revealed to IMDB: "I got a pretty serious neck injury. The pills that they give [me] - those were a real shock. It says on the label, 'Do not operate any heavy machinery', but, in my case, it should have been, 'Do not leave the house under any circumstances'.Connelly admitted she had grand pretensions whilst under the influence of the medication: "I do vaguely remember talking to someone, saying I thought it would be a good idea if I, who has no experience of credentials whatsoever, edited the film.

Jennifer Connelly Recalls Drunken Baboon Encounter

Jennifer Connelly didn't realize she'd come so close to a baboon during a recent safari trip to South Africa - one ended up in her hotel room. The actress and her family were holidaying in the Kruger National Park during a break in filming her latest movie Blood Diamond when she ignored warnings to keep her apartment doors closed and suffered the consequences.

She recalls, "There was a balcony and a glass sliding door, which when we checked in they made sure to tell us, about five times, that we should keep closed. We went for, literally, about half an hour to the swimming pool with the kids and I came back to get some stuff... and looked through the plate-glass window and found a five-foot tall baboon on the bed, eating a chocolate bar... and his buddy was bouncing up and down on the couch, another guy is like swinging from the curtains.

Romancing the enormous conflict diamond

Blood Diamond: Action adventure. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Djimon Hounsou and Jennifer Connelly. Directed by Edward Zwick. (R. 143 minutes. At Bay Area theaters.)
Being nice about "Blood Diamond" would mean saying almost everything about it except the most important thing, that it is brain-fryingly boring. Here we have a film with all the gravitas, humane purpose and epic length of a classic, but with a lukewarm, uninvolving and slow-moving story, and with characters whose every action is predictable from at least an hour off. Director Edward Zwick tried to make a great movie, but somewhere in the process he forgot to make a good one.

In some ways there's really nothing worse than a mediocre picture made with the intent of winning an Oscar.
